Bowyer leaves on loan

The 32-year-old has struggled to get in to the Hammers first-team this season making only 7 appearances so has been allowed to leave in order to play more first-team football.

Birmingham manager Alex McLeish told their official website, "Lee's a dynamic player and I want to bring a dynamic look back to the team.

"Roy Aitken, one of my assistants, has worked with him (at Leeds) and knows him as an attacking midfielder but he also knows that Lee can give a lot to the team as well."
