Speaking ahead of the game the in-form Swede said, We left on very good terms. Arsene wanted me to stay but I wanted a new challenge.

"There was the question of whether I should go to Spain or Italy or stay in London and this was the decision I made.

"He developed a lot of my game. I was a player who played behind the striker when I came and he changed me into a winger. Of course he had a lot to do with that and tried to change me into that role.

"He always gave confidence to the players. We never thought about the opposition, we just played our game knowing we were the better team. That makes the players think: 'Ok, I'm good. If we just play we'll win the game'.

"It's going to be an emotional day. I was there for nine years and I've a lot of friends there in the staff and around the stadium. I had an amazing relationship with the fans. I shared great memories with them and it's going to be very special."
