West Ham's Lucas Paqueta has publicly voiced his frustration after receiving a late red card for dissent during Sunday's 2-0 defeat to Liverpool.
The Brazilian midfielder, who was dismissed after two quick yellow cards, took to social media today to apologize to his teammates but also hit out at the Football Association.
Paqueta suggested the emotional outburst was a reflection of the "ridiculous behaviour" he has had to endure over the past two years, referencing the psychological toll of the spot-fixing allegations for which he was cleared in July.
Manager Nuno Espirito Santo declined to comment publicly, stating he would speak to the player privately first.
