Saudi Pro League outfit Al Hilal have reached an agreement with West Ham United to sign winger Crysencio Summerville in a transfer deal worth approximately £68m.
The 24-year-old Netherlands international is scheduled to undergo formal medical examinations shortly before signing a long-term contract.
Summerville attracted attention from across Europe this summer following a standout campaign that included five Premier League goals for the Hammers alongside impressive performances for his country during the World Cup finals.
Italian side Roma submitted multiple formal proposals for the forward, while Manchester United also held preliminary discussions regarding a potential transfer.
However, Al Hilal moved with speed to meet West Ham's financial expectations, presenting an attractive proposal to both the club and the player's representatives.
The departure allows West Ham to generate substantial transfer kitty to support their squad rebuild under newly-appointed head coach Nuno Espirito Santo following their relegation from the Premier League last season.
