The Hammers must pick themselves up front the ground as they face a critical game against rivals Wigan at the Boleyn Ground on Saturday.
“We expected better from our performance last night. It’s vital that we don’t make the same mistakes on Saturday,” explained Zola in his weekly email to supporters.
“The only way to deal with pressure is to work hard. We were under pressure at Everton but we went there and worked hard. That’s what we’ll be doing on Saturday, too. We’ll be focusing on our job and doing it with everything we’ve got.
“We owe it to you. I must say something about our support because you have been fantastic. We have really good supporters who follow us everywhere and last night you were beyond fantastic and behind us all the way. I am sorry that we couldn't offer more than what we did. We will put that right on Saturday"
