Arsenal Match Postponed - And Spurs Crash Out of Cup!

Following Arsenal's 1-1 draw at St James' Park with Newcastle yesterday, the game against Arsenal scheduled to be played on 23rd March has been postponed. Arsenal and Newcastle are to replay their fixture on that date instead, and the new date for the West Ham fixture at Highbury has yet to be announced.

The rearrangement means that Arsenal will most likely have the services of hot-shot Thierry Henry for the London derby with the Irons - as he will have served out his three match ban that he received this week.

In other news, Chelsea, who dramatically knocked West Ham out of the FA Cup earlier this season in the dying minutes of normal time handed out Spurs' second thrashing this week. Tottenham, who had already lost 4-0 to Manchester United earlier in the week were subject to another 4-0 trouncing, but this time at the hands of Cheslea.

Chelsea, who were reduced to ten men in the last quarter, scored a couple of goals either side of half time, finishing off their moves clinically. West Ham play Tottenham in a little over a months time, at White Hart Lane. Before that however, they will have the chance to gain some revenge over Chelsea, when they meet in the Premiership on Wednesday.

The date of the new fixture with Arsenal will be published here as soon as it is announced.
