The Hammers head to Italy in poor form after losing three of their last four games and scoring only a solitary goal since the arrival of Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano.

Alan Pardew still looks set to name his two Argentinean deadline-day signings in the starting line-up as he feels their experience of continental football will have an impact on the game.

He said, “There is a factor with Tevez and Mascherano, in their style of play and the Premiership football. This game is much more suited to them. I feel their impact will start to show over the next few weeks.”
