Bentley, still only 27, becomes the Hammers’ tenth signing this summer and will be looking to re-discover the kind of form that earned him seven England caps earlier in his career.
Bentley brings with him a wealth of Premier League experience despite being left out in the cold recently at both club and international level.
He has played for Arsenal, Norwich, Blackburn and Tottenham and may make his home debut against Portsmouth on the 10th September.
