The former Birmingham City owners submitted their bid to Rothschild and Standard Bank who were appointed by current owners CB Holdings to find a buyer for the club.
The two David’s offer is believed to include clauses for some of the cash to be used to finance the current debt as well as allowing funds for Gianfranco Zola to strengthen his squad in the January transfer window.
