Bowyer won't stay claims agent

Bowyer is keen for a return to Premiership football in an effort to force his way back into the England international set-up and his agent David Geiss thinks playing in the lower leagues will not help his cause.

"There has already been interest from a few clubs," said Geiss.

"It is very unlikely he'll drop down to the First Division.

"He came down from Leeds to help keep West Ham up and he was very frustrated at the end with niggly little injuries."
