The 63-year-old, who has been with the club for over 40 years, will become a consultant on youth development and he will also become the club’s ambassador at public meetings regarding youth football.
The running of the Academy will become the job of Terry Westley, currently Head of Professional development at the Premier League. Westley will become the clubs Head of Coaching and Player Development when his contract with the Premier League ends in July.
