Carrick should be back for Villa clash

Carrick is suffering from a groin strain picked up while away on international duty and was forced to sit-out the away game at Southampton last weekend.

However, the signs are that the injury is reacting well to treatment and the England under-21 midfielder should be back in the Hammers squad for the game with Villa at Upton Park on Saturday.
