Speaking about the loan move to BBC Radio Solent, Collison said, ““It was a busy day, but I was able to get to the stadium and I was grateful to get on the pitch.”
“I wasn’t on the bench for West Ham at the weekend and the opportunity to come here arose. It’s a fantastic club, which is on the up, and hopefully I can help them and they can help me.”
“I haven’t been involved as much as I would have liked at West Ham, so it’s a good opportunity for me to come here and show what I can do.
“It’s a bit disappointing to have the international break during the loan spell, but it’s a chance for me to go away with Wales and get some more football.
