West Ham went 1-0 down after only four minutes of their Carling Cup tie with supposedly one of the football league's worst sides Macclesfield.
Chants of "You're being sacked in the morning" and a chorus of boo's rang out from a section of the home support as the Hammers never looked capable of breaking the visitors down until Lee Bowyer struck with only 20 minutes left to send the game into extra time.
A sending off on 90 minutes sealed Macclesfield's fate and the one man advantage told in the extra 30 minutes as the Hammers ran out undeserved 4-1 winners.
