Defoe Red Card Appeal Rejected

The Hammers top scorer was sent off for violent conduct in the First Division clash at the Bescot Stadium on 20th December and despite an appeal against the red card by the club the decision stands.

Defoe will now begin a five match suspension which starts from this saturday, 3rd January 2004.
