"We had some good chances but Derby had a lot of confidence and for spells we were on the rack.
"We didn't pass the ball well enough and we are very grateful to get the three points because we were stretched at times in the second half.
"The ball kept coming back at us and I put Hutch on because he holds the ball up well and then he came up with a great finish."
