The 33-year-old French midfielder joined the club back in August 2012 from Marseille but went on to make only 6 appearances for the club in an injury hit couple of years with the club.
The midfielder has openly criticised both the club and manager Sam Allardyce at times and his departure was always expected to come before the end of his contract.
