The 23-year-old becomes Alan Curbishley's fifth signing since taking over at Upton Park and joins an already packed forward line of Carlos Tevez, Marlon Harewood, Bobby Zamora, Carlton Cole, Teddy Sheringham and Dean Ashton at the Boleyn Ground.

It has been reported that Marlon Harewood has been attracting interest from
Wigan, Newcastle and Everton whilst Bobby Zamora is a reported target is for Watford after their sale of Ashley Young to Aston Villa.
