Duberry Confusion

Many tabloid newspapers this morning reported Duberry as being Alan Pardew’s top defensive target after the news that Christian Dailly will be out for another month.

The 29 year old former Chelsea man has been out of favour at Leeds and they should be happy to offload another of their high earners as they try to keep their creditors happy.

Tonight though, independent Hammers news website www.kumb.com has reported that Alan Pardew has ruled out a move for the defender.

They are reporting that Pardew; speaking today at the teams open training session, has denied attempting to sign Duberry.
