Elliot staying on loan

It was initially thought that Elliot would return to the Hammers after Welsh defender Danny Gabbidon pick up an injury during a collision with an advertising board but after talking things through with Alan Pardew Elliot decided to stay in Plymouth.


West Ham have decided to keep a 24-hour recall clause on Elliot’s loan deal.

Argyle boss Tony Pulis told Plymouth’s Evening Herald, “Elliott could have gone back to West Ham, but he has enjoyed it here and enjoyed the opportunity to play.


“I think he has got better as we have progressed with him. He's getting fitter by the game.”
