In other news, it was confirmed yesterday that West Ham have rejected a bid for in-form striker Marlon Harewood. The bid, thought to be from Norwich City, is said to have been in the region of £3 million.
Pardew said, “Since the window opened we have refused a bid of around £3 million. And we will turn away all offers unless they are ridiculous.”
“We are desperate to hold on to Marlon and he will not be leaving this season.”
