Caretaker boss Trevor Brooking told BBC Radio Five Live: "Les went for an x-ray and he got the full clearance to travel back with us on crutches.
"It was a lot more encouraging by the time we got back into Stansted.
"It is very bad bruising and a couple of cuts on the leg, but I have not ruled him out for next weekend because I know the sort of character he is."
