Green Out

Green was left out of the match-day squad for last weekends game against Kazakhstan with Scott Carson preferred as the substitute keeper and David James as the No1 so England coach Fabio Capello has decided against calling up a late replacement.

Green has returned to West Ham for treatment and it is still unknown whether he will be fit in time for West Ham's away trip to newly promoted and in-form Hull City on Sunday.

New Czech goalkeeper Jan Lastuvka is on standby to make his first-team debut if Green is not fit.
