19-year-old Pearson has not yet had a chance to break into the first team at Upton Park with Bobby Zamora, Teddy Sheringham, Marlon Harewood and Sergei Rebrov all above him in the order for starting places.
Greg did have a trial with League Two side Grimsby Town recently and earlier this season he appeared 3 times and scoring once for Lincoln City.
Fellow Conference side Gravesend & Northfleet were also believed to be interested in Pearson but Canvey were his first choice.
