Hammers down Blues

The Hammers went into the break 0-1 down after Juan Mata opened the scoring for Chelsea after 13 minutes.

At the break Big Sam decided to change things and brough on Diame and Taylor for Tomkins and O’Neil and his chnges had the desired effect with Diame tormenting Chelsea through the second-half.

West Ham were the dominant force and the deservedly got an equaliser through Carlton Cole just after the hour.  Cole then turned provider for Diame to rifle home from just inside the box on 86 minutes to send the Hammers fans into raptures.  They then added a third through substitute Modibo Maiga to rub salt into Rafa Bentiez and his Chelsea side.
