In the first game since returning from Ireland, the squad were again given 45 minutes each to impress.

The opening two goals came just a minute apart as the Hammers capitalised on some weak defending.  New signing Razvan Rat hit a cross into the box that was diverted goal bound by Ben Nunn and then saved by ‘keeper James Russell.  Ravel Morrison was on hand to knock home the rebound for his second goal of pre-season.

Less than 60 seconds later Ricardo Vaz Te rose the highest to knock home a Mark Noble cross.  It wasn’t until the 83rd minute that the third was added when Kevin Nolan hooked in a left-foot volley.
