Hammers rescue point at Hull

Hull’s new signing Abel Hernandez opened the scoring for the Tigers just before half-time.  After the break the Hammers had their new signing Enner Valencia to thank after he produced a thunderbolt strike from 25 yards which flew into the top right-hand corner of the net to make the game 1-1.

The Hammers then fell behind again on 64 minutes as former friend became villain.  Mo Diame hit his first goal for Hull following some poor possession from the Hammers.  They weren’t behind long however; Diafra Sakho’s cross come shot nestling into the corner of the net to put the Hammers on level terms for the second time.

Both teams had chances to win the game but will no doubt be satisfied to come away with a point after a hard fought game.
