The 19-year-old Switzerland U-20’s goalkeeper joins for an undisclosed fee on a three-year-deal with the option for a further year.
Spiegel has represented his country at every age-group level from U17’s upwards whilst appearing in the second and third tiers of Swiss football.
Spiegel is expected to be third choice goalkeeper behind summer recruits Jussi Jaaskelainen and Stephen Henderson.
