The former Scottish international midfielder is hoping to secure first team football since being released by the Hammers earlier this month.
Millwall boss Steve Claridge told their official website “Don has come to us, he wants to get fit and playing again and we'll give him the opportunity.
“Whether it works out or not is for us to see.”
