Joorabchian holds a British passport and is the head of Media Sports Investment and is thought to have turned his attentions south after having previously displaying an interest in buying Newcastle United.
He is quoted as telling the Daily Express newspaper “I have had a meeting with West Ham and will seriously consider an offer.”
This news is sure to delight many Hammers fans that have in the past been vented their anger at the way current chairman Terence Brown runs the club.
Whether Brown would decide to sell his share, now the club are back in the Premiership, is a different matter entirely.
