He has been linked with the club for the past couple of seasons, and rumours are abounding that Glenn is about to indulge a large proportion - about £6m in fact - on the Turkish International.
The reason for the latest speculation is the fact the the 27-year-old has submitted a transfer request at the relegated midlands club and is especially disillusioned with the management after the recent furore regarding Robbie Savage's use of the ref's toliet.
The East End born midfielder rejected a move to Middlesbrough earlier this season after Leicester had accepted a deal, but he failed to agree terms - and it is thought that one of his reason's is that he was waiting for the call from Upton Park.
It remains to be seen though whether Glenn is going to spend what will surely be a large proportion of his summer transfer spending on one player or not. Although a quality player, our midfield is really looking for a big holding midfielder as opposed to a more diminuitive player in Izzet's mould.
But with Glenn saying that he wants to add to about nine or ten players currently in the squad this summer, it could be an interesting ride at West Ham.
