Speaking after the game, the winger admitted his disappointment. “It was frustrating,” he told the official site. “We put a lot of effort into the first half - we closed them down well and we managed to get the ball and create a lot of opportunities too.
“We got ourselves in front, so we were bitterly disappointed that we conceded just before half time as it could have been a completely different game.
“The timing of the goals was disappointing - just before half time and then just after the second half had started.
“Conceding again then puts us on the back foot when we needed to try and get the momentum going like we did in the first half, get on the ball and start creating chances again, but unfortunately we conceded a third.”
