Lomas: Injured again
Steve Lomas started the season in the treatment room, following a knee injury last season. He made his comeback last year, only for his toe to be broken within a couple of games of his return.

He made his first start for the Hammers this year at the end of January, at a crucial time in the season, when Michael Carrick had just been injured. He has since played every game for West Ham, but he has also damaged knee ligaments.

Club doctor Ges Steinbergs told the official site: "Steve has a small tear in his medial ligament and will be out of action for around a month. It is the same knee that he injured before, but a different injury so he will only be out for a few weeks."

Glenn said: "It has been an unlucky time for Steve and we are wishing him a speedy recovery."
