Boa Morte suffered anterior cruciate ligament damage whilst playing for the Hammers in their pre-season game with Tottenham Hotspurs as part of the Barclays Aisa Trophy in July 2009.
Despite the positive signs, it is believed to be too late in the season for Boa Morte to make any impression on Gianfranco Zola’s first team.
