The 25-year-old left-back joined from Sunderland over the summer whilst still recovering from a knee injury.
He told the official site, “I think I am about 2 to 3 weeks from getting back into full training at which point I will play some reserve games to get me back to full fitness then it will just be a case of pushing for the first team.
“It was strange how things happened when I first signed, still being up in Sunderland for my treatment, but now I have been down here for a couple of weeks and all the lads have been top class and have looked after me. The Manager and his staff have made me feel really welcome too and I am just delighted to be here. Now I just want to put my head down and work hard at getting into the first team.
