Following his stunning striker last night against Birmingham City, the Hammers star-striker Bobby Zamora will be signing copies of his new Play-Off final diary DVD at the club’s store in Lakeside Shopping Centre this evening (Tuesday 6th December) between 5pm and 7pm.

Bobby will be joined this evening by club team mate Anton Ferdinand, so if you’d like to meet the pair and perhaps pick up a signed copy of Bobby’s DVD then get down to the Lakeside this evening.

Bobby Zamora

Described as an instinctive finisher with an eye for goal from any range, Bobby Zamora has enjoyed a new lease of life since his arrival at Upton Park in February 2004. The striker is now the focus of this behind the scenes DVD charting West Ham’s rise back to the Premiership, in which he provides a detailed account the famous play-off finals.

West Ham’s unforgettable victory over Preston North End, which saw Zamora clinch the vital goals that led the team back to the top flight in 2005 is the subject of this release, allowing fans an exclusive insight into the dressing room nerves and excitement surrounding the victory.

Shot throughout the weekend, Bobby’s first hand account allows us to join the squad on the flight to Cardiff, relax with them at the hotel as the team prepares for the final, and experience the coach journey through the claret-and-blue hoards lining the streets to the stadium. Fans will also be able to relive the excitement of the match and follow the post match celebrations that erupted as West Ham earned their place back in the Premiership!

The nature of today’s game means that fans rarely get a glimpse of what happens off the pitch, as tactics and team talks are kept a closely guarded secret, but with the release of Bobby Zamora’s Play-off Diary, starring Reo-Coker, Anton Ferdinand, Chris Powell and the rest of the squad, Hammer’s fans can finally experience what it is like to be part of a top flight team.

‘Bobby Zamora’s Play-off Diary’ is available on DVD from all West Ham United Club stores from the 22nd October 2005 and all good retailers from 14th November priced at £15.99. The title can also be ordered through the official West Ham United website www.whufc.com and www.ilcsportdirect.com
