Melville to Forest

The veteran Wales international has not featured in the first team for over 4 months and is looking for first team football.

Melville joined West Ham in January 2004 from Fulham, in a deal that took Ian Pearce the other way.

West Ham’s under fire manager Alan Pardew will now be looking to bring in a replacement. He said when speaking to BBC London 94.9 – “Andy is a senior player who wants to play.

“It's good for him and it's good for us because it frees up finance to bring someone in on the defensive side.”

West Ham have however, kept the option to recall Melville before the three-month loan period ends.
