Philip Jackson who created the statue of Sir Matt Busby that stands outside Old Trafford, has been commisioned to create a statue of Sir Bobby Moore to stand the main entrance to the New Wembley Stadium on Wembley Way.
The final design will be approved by a panel from the FA which includes Trevor Brooking, Geoff Hurst and Sir Bobby's wife, Stephanie.
It is hoped that the statue will be completed next year in time for the opening of Wembley.
