The 39-year-old will enter his third season with the hammers despite being ousted from the No.1 role in the middle of last season by Spanish goalkeeper Adrian.
Jussi kept goal in the first eight of the fourteen clean sheets managed by the Hammers squad last season. He has a record of 19 clean sheets in the top flight for the Hammers in only 59 appearances.
It is expected he will provide competition and support to Adrian rather than being the No.1 goalkeeper.
