The Republic of Ireland U19 international moves to the club on a two-and-a-half year deal and will join up initially with the development squad.
Speaking to the official site, the youngster admitted it was ‘a dream come true’ to find himself at West Ham.
“I played with Waterford but I originally come from Kilkenny.”
“I finished joint-top goalscorer in the Irish First Division and was nominated for Young Player of the Year and Players’ Player of the Year, so I thought I had a successful season.
“In summer 2011, the Waterford manager brought me in for a couple of training sessions and gave me a chance in the first team and I took it. Here I am now at West Ham and it is a dream come true, really.”
