N'Gala exits for Plymouth
Updated Monday, 24th May 2010
Another of West Ham's young Academy stars has exited the club and joined recently relegated side Plymouth Argyle.
Bondz N’Gala had been earmarked for a bright future in the first team only a couple of years ago after impressing in a number of Academy and reserve fixtures, but the club has decided against offering him a new contract.
N’Gala spent the final few months of last season on loan to the Pilgrims and following his release from West Ham he has signed a two-year contract to play in League 1 next year.
He told Argyle’s official website, “I am pleased to get everything sorted out. I am going away soon to take it easy but you still have to keep things ticking over.
“I would like to get in the side again and play as many games as possible, from the team’s perspective we want to get back up to the Championship.
“I am always up for a new challenge, so, hopefully, I can show what I can do and I’ll be alright.”
