Both players are currently recovering from injuries and only Anton has played small part in the Hammers pre-season however they are expected to be fit enough to join up with Peter Taylor's squad this weekend.
Also included in the U-21 squad are strikers Theo Walcott and Darren Bent which gives the clearest indication yet that new England Coach Steve McClaren will call upon Hammers striker Dean Ashton when he names his England squad for the forthcoming friendly with Greece.
