No Minutes Silence for Ron?

A report on the West Ham website kumb.com reads: -

The League confirmed this afternoon that it would not be requesting clubs to hold a silence for the former Hammers and
England manager - despite having enforced a similar silence for George Best just a matter of weeks ago.

A Premier League spokesperson told KUMB this afternoon:

”It is rare for the Premier League to enforce minute's silences. In this case it is up to the individual clubs."

And when pressed to explain why the League felt it was more important to commemorate an Irish international, they added:

”It's nothing to do with who is more important. We simply felt that those decisions reflected public opinion.””

If you feel this decision is wrong you can contact the Premier League by telephone on 0207 864 9149.
