Pardew looking to strengthen squad

At this stage of the season, Coca Cola Championship rules state that a player may not be loaned to another club for more than three months.

With a play-off place looking highly possible, Pardew will wait until next week before making his signings, in order for them to be eligible for a possible play-off final appearance at the end of May.


There has been much speculation in the media over the last few weeks as to whom Pardew will bring in.

Names linked with a move to
East London include Michael Duberry of Leeds, Justin Hoyte of Arsenal and also Watford striker Danny Webber.
