Pardew Praise For Rebrov

Rebrov scored his first goal for the club when settling the tie with a long range free kick after the leagues bottom club had twice fought back to level two Booby Zamora goals.

"I was pleased for Sergei and that will do him the world of good," Pardew said after the 3-2 win at Upton Park.

He showed some good touches and hopefully he can kick on in the first team now.

"We are bubbling along nicely."
