Parker disappointed with point

The Hammers had taken the lead early in the game when Everton defender Tony Hibbert deflected the ball into his own net following a goalmouth scramble after a Scott Parker corner.  Seamus Coleman then equalised for the visitors before half-time.

“Obviously after going one-nil up, we are a little bit disappointed,” said Parker.  We needed to win today.  But in saying that, we have come off a good result against Fulham and we have been unbeaten.  We have not lost the game."
