Parker produces the goods

With the game becoming scrappy and heading for a 2-2 draw, Parker burst  through the middle before hitting a curling low shot from 25 yards to score his first goal at the Boleyn Ground.  He celebrated the goal in fashion exuberant fashion whilst running down the touchline to embrace his manager.

Defeat for Hull City against Sunderland and Liverpool’s victory over Burnley on Sunday mean that the Hammers are 6 points clear of the bottom three with only two games left, but their vastly superior goal difference means that only two record breaking defeats would send them down, if Hull managed to win both of their remaining fixtures.
