Point picked up at Palace

In another battling performance the Hammers had to come from behind twice to earn the draw.  A couple of defensive errors cost them dear in a game they dominated for long periods.

Darren Ambrose gave Palace the lead after only 6 minutes before Captain Kevin Nolan equalised for the Hammers on 16 minutes picking up a loose ball in the box after some good work from George McCartney and Carlton Cole.

The second-half started much the same as the first with Palace being gifted another goal when Glenn Murray was left unmarked at the back post.

An 80th minute goal from John Carew gave the Hammers a point.
