Pre-season starts with victory

The Hammers raced into a three goal half-time lead with two goals from Don Hutchison and a Trevor Sinclair strike.

Joe Cole scored the only goal of the second period with a header to seal a comfortable 4-0 victory at Dean Court.

West Ham: James, Schemmel, Brevett (Ward), Dailly, Repka (Ferdinand), Cole (Byrne), Sinclair(McMahon), Lee (Noble), Hutchison (M.Cole), Defoe, Kanoute(Garcia).
