Rebrov scored two impressive goals for West Ham’s reserve side in their 5-2 victory of Watford’s reserves on Tuesday night and is expected to make the bench on Sunday.

Rebrov said to the official site “In my first game back it was very difficult physically.

“I have been out for a while and it is tough when you come back for your first game.

“But I felt a lot better physically against Watford and was pleased to score two goals. I feel in good shape now, but it is up to the manager when and where I play.

”I feel confident now and when I just want to do my best for West Ham United in what is a very important time for the Club.”

Long-term absentee Christian Dailly also completed an hour of the game against Watford reserves and seems to have felt no ill effects to the knee injury that he has been out with since last August.

Although the Watford game on Sunday may have come too fast for Christian, he should be fit and available for the play-off matches should Alan Pardew's team reach them.
